Masato Kobayashi was born in Chiba (Japan) in 1979. He made his debut in kickboxing at the age of 17 years and his professional debut March 23, 1997 beating by KO Hutoshi Takehara. After fighting many of his countrymen under the auspices of the Japan Federation of kickboxing, he went to Thailand to hone his technique , he participates in the K-1 (annual event that combines martial art combining karate, kung fu, muay thai, tae kwon do and kickboxing) (Japan) has introduced the class K-1 MAX for boxers under 70 kg since 2002 .
